Episode 76: Full Circle 2

Ashford and Mark discuss Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #20 by Shawna and Julie Benson with pencils by Roge Antonio.  Parting of the ways after the death of Gus and the secrets of Barbara Gordon.  Can the Birds ever trust each other again?  Will they ever reunite?
After hearing the news that the book is discontinuing, newer info has now hit the web, such as, the Benson sisters are writing for Green Arrow!  What????  Make sure you congratulate them on Social Media.
As Birds of Prey lovers, we truly hope that the team are not fully neglected.  And for Ashford, he hopes that Huntress will be used somewhere in the DC Universe.

Episode 73: Marco Polo

How does a podcast talk about a serial of Doctor Who where the actual story doesn't exist?  In a word.  Easily.  Ashford read the novelization to prep before the show, while Siskoid, of the Siskoid Blog of Geekery, revisited the reconstruction.  One can not go wrong either way.
Ashford hopes that one day this seven part serial can be found with its lavish costumes, exotic locations, and realistic angst and peril.  Electronic Mail us your thoughts at prydonian.post@gmail.com or visit our website www.wrightonnetwork.com

Episode 16: The Chinese Restaurant

Going out to eat is such a human act.  Attending a place where others will serve you your food is quite a unique trait of the human race compared to other species of the animal kingdom.  The Four Who Rule minus one attends a Chinese Restaurant where the wait time is like purgatory...without the magazines.  Sorry, I don't know where I was going with that one.  Elaine, Jerry, and George are attending a bad b-movie, and I'm not talking about the Bee Movie.  But before the movie, they want to fill their bellies.  Erin and Ashford discuss on episode 16 of the Four Who Rule: A Seinfeld Podcast.

Episode 72: End of Time

Ruth, Darrin, Siskoid, and Ashford have come together to discuss the end of an era: Showrunner, Doctor, Series, and Standard Definition.  That's right.  Straight Outta Gallifrey is discussing The End of Time by Russell T. Davies.  Could the 10th Doctor do so much more, or was it time for a...renewal? We also know that David Tennant was/is adored by many.  Do you miss him? Ashford has mentioned how the 10th Doctor is his favorite thing about 50th, but can think of many Doctor Who stories to pop in before a series 2-4 story.

Episode 75: The Killing Ground

Episode 75 of Feathers and Foes is Chuck Dixon's penultimate issue called The Killing Ground.  Black Canary is still stuck on Dinosaur Island, a peculiar place that is stuck in time with some colorful characters to say the least.  Ashford and Mark discuss this G.I. Joe like structured plot.  Join the conversation via feathersandfoes@gmail.com or on Twitter @feathersandfoes

Episode 15: The Baby Shower

Erin is out, but don't worry, she will be back next episode.  And you can also reduce any anxiety you might have, for Ashford is not flying solo.  Oh no.  Delvin has agreed to make a guest spot to discuss The Baby Shower, for the classic hit television show, Seinfeld.  Illegal cable, Kennedy references, Russians, and a Baby Shower.  Heck of a combination.

Episode 3: Doctor Who and the Silurians

Straight Outta Gallifrey: A State of Temporal Grace episode 3 features Doctor Who and the Silurians, which is a Malcolm Hulke story.  Diane of the Helena Wayne Blog and Jordan the Librarian join Ashford to discuss this Doctor Who story featuring Doctor Liz Shaw played by Caroline John!  Special tribute to the late Peter Miles who passed away as we were producing this episode.  A song called Can't We Be Friends performed by him and Dusty Springfield are played at the beginning of this podcast.  What a great lost.  We will miss him.
We also have U.N.I.T. with one of the members, Hawkins, played by Paul Darrow.  Yea!  Allen Wright of the Boldoutlaw.com has a segment where he explains the careers of some of the actors in this serial.

Episode 71: End of Time

The end of an Era on so many levels: Showrunner, Doctor, supporting characters, standard definition.  Rassilon returns, madder as a hatter, and as cross as a crossword puzzle.  He and the Time Lords are locked in a timeless bubble if you will, and for good reason, I might add.  If Rassilon and the Time Lords are released, they will complete their mission, to rid reality and time itself, which the Doctor knew, and that is why he chose to use the Moment.  I know.  Spoilers.
Ashford and Siskoid discuss the End of Time by Russell T. Davies.
Ashford mentioned that there is a way to read an early draft about Day of the Doctor, featuring Christopher Eccelson's Doctor before he turned it down.  Please click the link below this sentence.
