Episode 83: Birds of Prey 50 Busman's Holiday

Gilbert Hernandez and Casey Jones take control of the Birds of Prey franchise.  According to Ashford, he feels like this issue was proper Birds of Prey.  Great issue with Black Canary/Oracle banter.  We get Black Canary on the motorcycle and doing martial arts.  We get some great action scenes and great character moments.

Episode 79: The Doctor's Wife

Siskoid and Ashford discuss Neil Gaiman's The Doctor's Wife.  A grave yard of time capsules from Gallifrey because of unknowing Time Lords answering distress calls only to reach sudden doom could be the fate of the Doctor.  Join us in this conversation of one of the most popular episodes in the Matt Smith run.  prydonian.post@gmail.com

Episode 88: The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon

Siskoid and Ashford discuss Steven Moffat's The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon, the two part opener for series 6.  There are so many beautifully directed episodes in this series, and this two part opener is no exception.  Moffat takes the timey wimey and ups it up to...11.  Sorry.  The T.A.R.D.I.S. crew's adventure is in America.  The United States of America to be specific.  And now, for the first time as far as a television broadcast, the Silence is introduced.
Ashford really enjoys this villain.  What are your thoughts?  Are they all style and no substance?  Or are they actually worthy foes for the Doctor and company?  Did we mention this two part story includes Richard Millhous Nixon?
