The Manhattan Project covers another episode of Friends without a Seinfeld broadcast. Joey and Chandlier rival over the naming of a child, Ross is in a panic about losing another lover to Susan, and Rachel got a dress that has everyone talking.

Rachel's dress actually works for an award show. There's certainly more daring outfits in that setting. But I guess I'm getting soft in my old age and don't enjoy cringe humor as much, and poor Rachel is having to get thru this terribly embarrassing situation, and I just feel bad for her. However, it was worth it to have Joshua's dad say "I like her, she seems smart." HA! Favorite line of the episode! And wow, I had no idea that actor was Perry's dad. I agree, it would have been great for him to return.
ReplyDeleteOh, and like you April, I thought this part went longer, but my brain was expecting to see the dinner scene, not just hear about it in Central Perk. Memory is a funny thing.
Ross was terrible about "my girlfriend's a lesbian." But we'd just seen this same story with the rugby guys. It's all about his jealousy. We'll see how this story develops I guess.
Now this was funny. When Ross pulled the "well actually, in Hulk #72", I started to "well actually" Ross and the writers myself! "That issue doesn't exist" and the like. Either accidentally or intentionally, the show pulled a well-actually-inception on me! LOL!
Sorry it's been a while since I last wrote. Been a crazy time. But I'm with you all the way, Man-hatters!
